11817 is an upcoming Netflix Original horror film directed and produced by Louis Leterrier (Lupin) and written by Matthew Robinson (Love and Monsters).
Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson are the executive producers of Chernin Entertainment. Oly Obst is an executive producer for 3 Arts Entertainment. Lastly, Damian Anderson, Benski, Cécile Gaget, Lars Sylvest, and Thorsten Schumacher are the remaining executive producers.
What is the plot of 11817?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for the film:
“11817 centers on a family of four who are sealed into their home with no way of getting out. If that doesn’t sound nightmarish enough, their resources are running thin, and they must work together to survive not only a lack of essentials but also the mysterious, looming threat that is keeping them trapped inside.”
Speaking with TUDUM, 11817 director Louis Leterrier shared his thoughts on the story:
“11817 challenges the idea of a safe haven, turning a family home into a hostile environment where survival demands unity. This is an ordinary family’s worst nightmare, pushing them to their limits to protect each other and exposing the fragility of security — and the desperate fight to reclaim it.”
Who are the cast members of 11817?
It has been confirmed that Greta Lee and Wagner Moura will play the two lead roles in the film.
Greta Lee will be most familiar to Netflix subscribers as Maxine from the Groundhog Day-esque comedy Russian Doll. She has starred in several television shows since then, including Housebroken, The Morning Show, and The Studio. She will also star in Netflix’s upcoming film House of Dynamite and Disney’s Tron: Ares.

Wagner Moura is best known for his portrayal of Pablo Escobar in Netflix’s acclaimed crime drama, Narcos. He has since starred in a handful of other Netflix projects, including the films Wasp Network, Sergio, and The Gray Man. He even reprised his role as Pablo Escobar in Narcos: Mexico.
