BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Left Baffled By Her Own Weight-Loss Goal

The idol herself is confused how to achieve it.

BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo recently appeared on the latest episode of Dex’s Fridge Interview and talked about her relationship with food and exercise.

During her interview with Dex, the conversation drifted into the topic of alcohol tolerance, to which Jisoo responded, “I’m not good at drinking,” adding that she never really liked alcohol. Hearing that, Dex remarked that it must also make watching her weight easier for Jisoo, and she agreed. “It’s a relief because I really love eating and can gain and lose weight easily,” she explained. But he disagreed, pointing out that she was already very slim.

Jisoo, however, shared that she was still 3 kg away from her supposed goal weight! But the idol herself was confused about where she could possibly lose so much weight, given that her body had almost no fat. “I’m so perfect now; I have no fat to lose,” she exclaimed.

Not only does Jisoo have a practical outlook toward weight loss, but she also appears to have a wholesome relationship with food. When Dex asked if she eats comfortably during her off-season and restricts when she has more schedules, the idol immediately responded, “No, I don’t distinguish it per season.” Jisoo made it clear that there is only one thing that ruled her diet: “Feel.” 

When it came to workouts, Jisoo re-confirmed her devotion to pilates. The singer shared that she did pilates almost every day when she had the time.

But during tours, Jisoo said she only does cardio sometimes since she was scared of working out her muscles on her own without an expert’s supervision.

It seems that despite being one of the industry’s top idols for so long, Jisoo’s approach to dieting and working out is much less restrictive than usual.
