Director Shin Jae Ho paid tribute to the late Kim Sae Ron. Shin Jae Ho, who directed half of Kim Sae Ron’s last work, Guitar Man, shared his thoughts in a recent interview.
I first met actress Kim Sae Ron at the script reading for ‘Guitar Man.’ She was so bright. She was easygoing and even went out to eat together after the reading. We ate and talked a lot together.

He also recalled how motivated she was to work on this project.
She told me and the other actors that she would work hard on this project. She was very motivated and has been a professional actress working in this field for a long time. On set, she felt like a senior rather than a young person. Among the actors who appeared in the movie, she had the most acting experience and was like an acting teacher.

Director Shin shared how sad the staff members were after hearing the news.
Kim always made being on set fun. She was sincere and thorough in her work but easygoing in her daily life. She gave presents to the staff and made many happy memories. Many staff members contacted me yesterday expressing how sad they were by her passing.
