Over the years, multiple idols have shared that they are members of the LGBT+ community, becoming important representation for many worldwide. Here is a list of them!
1. JUST B’s Bain
As previously stated, Bain recently came out during one of the group’s concerts in America. He stated that he was proud to be a member of the community and has received love from fans worldwide.

2. Jiae
Jiae originally debuted as a member of WA$$UP in 2013 and remained a group member until their 2019 disbandment.
In 2020, Jiae shared that she was bisexual on her Instagram account, and also announced her relationship with a woman at the same time. She has since made her solo debut and has worked on songs for other performers as well.
3. Som Hevin
Som Hevin (previously known as Som Hyein) competed in the show Idol School but was eliminated before the finale.
Following her solo debut, she came out as lesbian and shared that she was currently in a relationship, though they have since broken up.

4. Navichi
Navichi made his debut under the name Hansol as a member of ToppDogg in 2013.
After leaving the group, Navichi has been active as a dancer primarily, and has changed his name to Minsung. In 2017, the idol came out as asexual during a live stream, the first idol to do so.
5. KATSEYE’s Lara
Lara made her debut as a member of KATSEYE in 2024 following the survival show.
Earlier this year, Lara admitted to being queer in messages to fans, discussing her fears of her sexuality affecting her debut.

There are other idols who are LGBTQIA+, but did not “come out” and debuted while openly queer, including HOLLAND, QIX, Lionness, Lady, and Choi Han Bit.
