The fan — who had arrived at the venue very early, shortly after 5 AM, to line up — described the incident in detail on a Threads post. She claimed that just as she was nearing her destination, she was unexpectedly shoved, causing her to fall and hit her head and knees on the ground.

No way, I got pushed by other Ahgases (GOT7 fandom) while trying to get on-site tickets? I was running, but got pushed without warning when I almost got there. Next thing I knew, my head and knees were on the floor.

I’m so angry that I want to quit the fandom. I came to line up a little past 5 AM. Not only did I not manage to get tickets to watch the concert, but also have to go home with injuries. I didn’t even manage to get merchandise.

I couldn’t use the washrooms in the concert venue, so I had to walk very far to a public washroom to get bandaged up…

Another fan who was reportedly present at the scene supported her claims, commenting under her post which has gained quite some attention.

No way, an Ahgase from Taiwan? I saw it happen with my own eyes, it must’ve hurt so much. It must’ve been tough for you.

While some speculated that the pushing could have been the work of ticket scalpers rather than genuine fans, others pointed out that harmful individuals can exist within any fandom. One commenter advised the victim to stay cautious, emphasizing that blindly blaming scalpers without evidence could lead to a false sense of security.

Comment: “Perhaps ticket scaplers pushed you. I don’t think Ahgases are that shameless. I hope your wounds heal quickly.”

OP: “I can only tell myself that it must’ve been scalpers.”

Another comment: “Don’t lose wariness against your own fandom. There are bad people within all groups. Keep that in mind, and you wouldn’t be scammed or hurt easily while stanning your idols. If you blame this on scalpers without any proof, you’d lose wariness and put yourself in danger. At the end of the day, there were more fans than scalpers, so there’s a higher chance that fans pushed you. Be careful next time, and always be on guard.”

The incident has sparked heated discussions within the fandom and many have been left disappointed by their fellow fans’ behavior.
