Jennie Garth and Husband Dave Abrams Sheltered with Her Ex Peter Facinelli’s Family Following L. A Fire I’m So Grateful!
The ‘Beverly Hills: 90210’ alum added that her home “made it through the night” amid the devastating fires
Jennie Garth and her husband Dave Abrams found shelter with her ex-husband Peter Facinelli during the widespread Los Angeles fires.
On Thursday, Jan. 9, the Beverly Hills: 90210 alum, 52, shared an emotional Instagram video, telling her followers how she is coping amid the devastation.
“I just have a deep sadness today,” she said.
Garth added that she and her family are “safe” and feeling “blessed and fortunate” that “our home made it through the night.”
“We’re all so, so lucky that more people weren’t hurt or trapped in the fires.”
After noting that she and her family plan to head back home, she thanked Facinelli, 51, whom she was married to from 2001 to 2012, for letting her and her family stay at his house.

Garth also thanked first responders and volunteers who are “providing things for people who have lost everything.”
“Fires are still burning. It’s just unimaginable.”
Her video ended with a message about how to navigate anxiety and uneasiness during times like this.
In her caption, she reassured fans that she was “safe” and expressed gratitude for Facinelli opening up his home.
“I wanted to let you know that we are safe. Peter and his family took us in and have been so kind. I am deeply saddened for our city,” she began. “and just feel numb.”
Garth is now ready to help others in need, she said, explaining, “Our home was spared but so much to clean up and ready to get active to help our neighbors and friends and fellow Angelinos.”
She shared that Abrams, 43, has been transporting their bags and boxes before sharing a plea for supporters to pray for “everyone here who is suffering.”
“I am grateful we are all ok and have a home to return to. this will affect people differently, so reach out, and offer to help, it really does mean so much. thank you for all the love that is being sent this way🩵,” she concluded.

Over 100,000 residents are under evacuation orders as of Thursday, Jan. 9, due to the Eaton Fire and Palisades Fire. City officials reported five fatalities on Wednesday, though a concrete toll has yet to be determined.
Many residents, including celebrities, were forced to leave their homes. PEOPLE reported Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam, John Goodman, Jamie Chung Bryan Greenberg, and Jennifer Grey were among the names.
