It seems like viral allegations about his appearance have netizens mocking him.
On Chinese site xhs, a viral allegation has become a hot topic after the netizen believed Kim Soo Hyun was wearing a wig with a stream of photos with circles to show the proof.
The OP also put some photos from Getty of past appearances at the airport. Under the caption, the OP explained the reasoning behind the thoughts, including detailed descriptions of each photo and the thought process behind why it is a wig.
From the hair texture, this seems like “young girl’s hair”. How ironic.
Basis of my analysis:
Pic 1-3: the hair at his hairline is a bit messy and curved (this is usually because some of the hairs aren’t growing in a good direction, so they need to curve it while styling)
Pic 4-5: you can’t see the root of his hair or scalp, and the hairs are growing messily in different directions
Pic 6-7: the obvious spot where the wig and his real hair meet. The wig and his real hair have completely different texture and color.
Pic 8-9: these two photos are old pictures that I found in order to substantiate my analysis. In these two photos, the white adhesive near his hairline is more obvious; and it seems like there’s a strand stuck inside the cover.— OP
