Recently, Roy of PLAN B has accused his groupmate, Han (Wangseok), of physical assault.
On April 26, Roy shared an Instagram update with his claims, revealing that an instance where he didn’t perform on stage was a result of an assault by a member, Han. He included X-rays from the alleged hospital visit that happened, and claimed that the doctor said he was at risk for a fracture if he did not rest.
For the Halloween 2023 stage,
I was unable to perform with the other members — not because of a personal decision,
but because I was physically harmed by a fellow member (Wangseok).
All the members witnessed the incident, and the leader was unable to control the situation (he didn’t dare to say that Han was at fault — something that hurt me deeply).
At that time, I didn’t want the situation to escalate,
so I chose to let it go, not wanting it to affect the performance or the company, and didn’t make any demands.P.S. There were witnesses — the members —
and afterward, the manager took me to the hospital,
where the doctor advised him to stop activities due to the risk of a bone fracture.— Roy
Han, also known as Wangseok, along with PLAN B’s Hwi, are currently members of a pre-debut group called SWEET:CH following their participation in the survival show Project 7. Roy also mentioned these new debut plans in a post, accusing them of “running off” to make a new debut.
Do you really think what you’re doing is right?
Where is your humanity? Just leaving others behind and moving forward on your own?
You are making the image of Koreans look even worse.— Roy
He also further explained the incident, including details that he was allegedly mocked as well.

“Before explaining what happened on the day of the incident, I need to give some background:
Han is a very talented and fast learner.
His role was to memorize the dance moves for everyone,
while my role was to teach speech and event scripts. That day, we were practicing for an upcoming event.
Han and Hwi were able to recite all the lines perfectly,
but Han’s pronunciation was unclear.
I suggested, “Can you say it again? I’ll help correct your pronunciation.”
However, Han refused to speak properly,
mocked the Thai accent, and acted very disrespectfully.
I decided to ignore him and turned around to go outside the practice room to get some air.Just as I was about to reach the door,
Han suddenly ran from the corner of the room and tackled me to the ground. At that moment, everyone was shocked,
because I hadn’t even argued with Han.
Some members even laughed at first, thinking it was just a joke,
as no one expected the situation to escalate like that.
But then Han stood over me, pointing at him and shouting,
even though I couldn’t get up.
He insulted me, accusing me of “acting” and “faking it.”At that point, the other members realized this was serious,
rushed to help me up,
and contacted the manager to take me to the hospital. The reason we were practicing speeches that day
was because three of our members were foreigners,
and each event involved a massive amount of script —
sometimes 20–30 pages.
James and I had to memorize not only their own parts
but also the other members’ parts,
so if someone forgot their lines during an event, James and I could jump in and cover.”— Roy
In response, SWEET:CH shared a statement on their X account, addressing the situation as a misunderstanding. The group’s agency also claimed that it was an accident due to a language gap between members.
“Hello,
This is DND E&S, DNA ENTERTAINMENT.
We would like to address the situation regarding Kang Wangseok currently being discussed on social media.First, PLAN-B was a multinational group composed of 2 Thai members, 1 Chinese member, and 2 Korean members.
It is true that they faced many difficulties in communication as they were unable to converse in the same language. At the end of October 2023, while practicing a Halloween performance at the practice studio, there was no staff member or interpreter present, and the members were practicing choreography and performance. Due to the lack of communication, misunderstandings occurred, and WANG SEOK unintentionally caused ROY to fall during the practice.
WANG SEOK immediately apologized to ROY for causing harm, and after understanding each other’s situations and making peace, the group continued their activities as desired. However, on March 23, 2024, after the T WAVE SUMMER CONCERT, activities under MY PLAN-C were concluded.
It became a situation where continued activities were no longer possible. The members, waiting in the dorm for the company’s position, eventually did not sign a continuation plan and returned to their home countries in May.Meanwhile, WANG SEOK continued his personal training without giving up on his dream of becoming an idol.
He participated in a JTBC project and continued his dance career, and is now scheduled to debut with SWEET:CHER in April 2025.We hope that no further speculative discussions occur on social media based on things that are not true.
We also sincerely hope that everyone will continue to support each other and move forward positively. We apologize to the fans who were hurt by this incident, and we would appreciate your support for WANG SEOK and the other members as they embark on their new journeys.”

After this, Han shared a handwritten letter of apology, claiming he was at fault due to his “careless” actions.
Hello, this is Kang Wang Seok.
First, I would like to sincerely apologize to the fans who were shocked and hurt by the surprising news currently circulating on SNS.
The incident involving Roy — it was my fault for causing harm during the situation due to my careless actions at the time.
Once again, I want to sincerely apologize to Roy, who was hurt because of me,
and to everyone who felt disappointed by this situation. From now on, I will think more deeply about my actions, act more carefully, and strive to become a more thoughtful and cautious Kang Wang Seok.
