“The first question was, “ Is a full-length album possible?” It all started with trusting them and trusting us to release a full-length album before the leader goes. There is nothing more meaningful than a full-length album.
The first thing was everyone’s thoughts on preparing an album before the leader left. It could’ve been impossible because we were short on time. We worked so hard that no one had an ample amount of sleep. We were so short on time that what we had to prepare for after Sangyeon left for the military wasn’t important. We had to release it before he left. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the 21 producers, 11 artists, the A&R team, and the production team. Even after filming the music video for five nights and six days on top of doing fan meetings, no one complained about how hard it was.
We worked on the album, practiced choreography, filmed the music video, finished the album, and received the fastest date to make the albums in the nick of time. We were so happy to send off Sangyeon after creating an album that included his self-produced song.
The album topic is ‘unexpected’ and expresses just that. Is there anything that we can expect? Next month’s test question? The weather? This album talks about the unexpected difficulties and pain that come with our youth.
The music becomes memories, and when those memories become stronger, it makes a great song. I hope that all these videos and upcoming episodes will warm your heart and become a strength for your beautiful memories.
100 artists truly love and cherish all their fans. We will become a company that puts fans first. My review of making the album. It was really hard, and we put our all into it. We will bring you a genre that THE BOYZ has never done before. Here’s a trendy spoiler…#vvv”

However, fans criticized him as they felt he was trying to cover up for recent controversies.
- “The only thing I see are the misspelled words in his message.”
- “What’s wrong with him, acting like he made THE BOYZ.”
- “Is explaining that they were tired from music video filming for five nights and six days his way of defending the controversy of the member’s behavior at the fan sign?”
- “He’s really trying to cover himself…I think the fans are going to have to just accept that this is the company they have to go up against now.”
