All five members of NJZ (NewJeans) are attending the first round of questioning in their case against ADOR.
The Seoul Central District Court will hold its first round of interrogations regarding the legal dispute between the NJZ members and ADOR over maintaining the group’s contractual status with ADOR. The interrogation session began at 10:30 am KST.
The five NJZ members have attended the interrogation session even though they were not obliged to appear in person, showing their strong will to express their opinions to ADOR in person alongside their legal representatives.
The members could be seen wearing all black as they approached the court building.
This is a continuation of ADOR and NJZ’s legal dispute over the validity of their exclusive contract. ADOR maintains their stance that their contract is valid and by rebranding to NJZ, the group is violating their contract. NJZ maintains their position that the contract has been legally terminated and thus they are free to promote outside of ADOR’s control.
