‘Our Unwritten Seoul’ New Weekly K-Drama Coming to Netflix in May 2025

Park Bo Young plays a dual role in Netflix’s newest weekly K-drama, Our Unwritten Seoul. The 12-part series will premiere in May 2025 and feature Park Bo Young as two twins who lead vastly different lives but find themselves trading places and pretending to be the other. Here’s everything we know so far about Our Unwritten Seoul on Netflix.
Our Unwritten Seoul is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original weekly K-drama written by Lee Kang and directed by Park Shin Woo. The series is broadcast in South Korea by the cable network TVN.
When is Our Unwritten Seoul coming to Netflix?
Netflix has officially confirmed that Our Unwritten Seoul will be available to stream weekly from May 24th, 2025.
Two new episodes will be available every Saturday and Sunday. Our Written Seoul will have 12 episodes, with the season finale scheduled for June 29th, 2025.
Each episode will have an approximate run time of 70 minutes.
What is the plot of Our Unwritten Seoul?
Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Ra are identical twin sisters. Despite being identical in appearance, they lead vastly different lives and have strong personalities. Yoo Mi Ji, the younger of the twins, once had a promising career as an athlete but is now leading a free-spirited life. Meanwhile, her older sister, Yoo Mi Ra, is a perfectionist working for a public corporation and finds herself amongst the elite of Korean society. But due to a wild twist of fate, the sisters swap lives and must now assume the other’s identity.

Who are the cast members of Our Unwritten Seoul?
Park Bo Young plays the roles of Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae. Thanks to the plot, it will almost be like the actress taking on four roles simultaneously. So we’re excited to see her performance in action. The actress recently starred in the lead role of the Netflix K-drama Melo Movie and previously starred in the lead roles of other Netflix K-dramas such as Daily Dose of Sunshine and Abyss. She is arguably most well-known for her incredibly popular roles in the K-dramas Oh My Ghost and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.

Park Jin Young plays Lee Ho Su. The actor has starred in only one leading role in a Netflix K-drama, the romantic melodrama When My Love Blooms, which was released in 2020. He starred in a guest role in Chicken Nugget and a supporting role in the action film Yaksha: Ruthless Operations. He is most well-known for being a member of the K-pop group GOT7.

Ryu Kyung Soo and Lee Jae In are the only confirmed supporting cast members. Ryu Kyung Soo previously starred in Netflix K-dramas such as The Bequeathed, The Sound of Magic, Hellbound, Lovestruck in the City, Itaewon Class, and the action film Jung_E. Lee Jae In last starred in a Netflix drama, Racket Boys, and she also held a guest role in the popular medical drama Hospital Playlist.
