Actor Park Bo Gum might be known for his pure and soft-hearted image, but it turns out that he is also gifted with money-smartness.
According to reports, in the past year, Park has gotten ₩500 million KRW (about $353,000 USD) richer from a single investment.
As per the data provided by the official transaction system of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, a property owned by Park has seen an incredible jump in value this year. The data showed that a unit in Gyeonghuigung Xi Apartments Complex 2, where the actor currently resides, sold for ₩2.54 billion KRW (about $1.79 million USD) on March 21 of this year. It is a record high price for the property type. The same unit would have sold for around ₩1.95 billion KRW (about $1.37 million USD) to ₩2.05 billion KRW (about $1.45 million USD) a year ago.
The Gyeonghuigung Xi Apartments is located in a highly sought-after neighborhood in Seoul, as it is very well connected to multiple key parts of the city, including Gangnam, Mapo, and Yeouido. Park Bo Gum reportedly moved into this neighborhood from his Mok-dong residence in 2019 to be closer to his filming and work locations.
According to an industry expert, Park is expected to continue enjoying the rising value of this property as it sits near the Gyeonghuigung Palace, enjoys a natural inner-city environment, and has incredible transportation networks.
