A boy group is disbanding for the second time, much to the disappointment of their fans.

PUPPY HYBRID (also known as Papihai), is a Japanese idol boy group that debuted on December 15, 2020. The group disbanded for the first time in 2023, then redebuted with all new members (Mui, Kaito, Sei, Ryoma, and Hiroto). PUPPY HYBRID disbanded for the second time on April 25, 2025.

On the day of their disbandment, PUPPY HYBRID gave their final performance at the 1000CLUB in Yokohama, Japan. The ticket sales began in March.

The group’s second disbandment was announced on X (formerly Twitter) on February 5, 2025. In this notice, they thanked fans for supporting them and apologized for the announcement. In the quote retweets, some fans expressed their sadness and disbelief.
