The director of a nursery school has been arrested for using an inappropriate form of punishment on a young student. He told police that he was “trying to scare the boy into obeying” him.
On the morning of March 3, 24-year-old Miura Toshifumi urinated inside a student’s water bottle to punish a student. He is suspected to have done so between 10:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the private nursery school, which is located in Saitama, Japan. The school accepts students as young as two years old.
Following the incident, the student’s mother contacted police, who then arrested Miura. According to reports, Miura has admitted to the charges of property destruction he is now facing. The nursery has reportedly stopped operating for the time being, and its students have been moved to other nursery schools.
