Netizens saw that there were teaser posts on the account, giving fans a glimpse of what they could expect from the group in terms of the concept they might have. In the images there seemed to be a vintage feel, like they were taken on a film camera with a look at what seems to be a schoolgirl aesthetic.
When the photos were posted, netizens had mixed reactions to them, and it sparked some debate online.
Some liked the photos and were excited to see the debut. However, after looking at the aesthetics, some thought it resembled other groups (including ones that the concept was created by former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin like NewJeans and f(x)), sparking a debate on “plagiarism.” But others just thought that the concept was just a standard concept that had been overused, leading some to be disappointed.
