On January 31, 2025 (KST), Yoon’s label FTW Independent Records announced that Yoon is set to release the new single while serving his seven-year sentence for drug use.

Reportedly, the song was worked on before his incarceration, and then he made collect calls to his family, asking them to record the rap verses he produced. FTW Independent Records also explained that the recorded audio files will undergo professional post-production before being officially released as a song.
