Japanese actress Nagano Mei has reportedly been caught having an affair.
On April 23, Japan’s Shukan Bunshun published rumors and alleged photo evidence of Nagano Mei’s alleged affair with actor Tanaka Kei. The outlet released photos reportedly taken in front of Nagano’s apartment on April 19, showing the pair getting into the same car with their faces covered by masks.
Additionally, the outlet claims that Nagano was two-timing Tanaka with a Korean actor she worked with and had invited him to her home multiple times while allegedly seeing Tanaka. Tanaka is 15 years older than Nagano and is also married to an actress named Sakura, with whom he has two children.
Other images of the pair were also shared, including one where they are holding hands.
Nagano is known abroad for several works, including the Netflix series House of Ninjas and the film Daytime Shooting Star. In 2021, she and Tanaka appeared in the film And So the Baton Is Passed, in which she plays a high school student and he plays the student’s stepfather.
